The good ol’ field day, I honestly can’t remember the last time I went to one. Was it middle school? Well anyways, we all know that field day is a day where sports and various athletic competitions are held at school. It’s fun and it’s really just a day for us to showcase how athletic we are, or not if you were me. Here are some essentials for your successful field day.
Be prepared to wear clothes that are breathable and allow movements, you’re about to move around a lot in them. I highly recommend wearing darker colors unless you want to get your white shirt dirty. On that note, you should always have backup clothes in your bag so you can change into them after a sweaty day.
Headband or Scrunchie
Nothing worse than your hair in your face especially when you are sweaty. Keep yourself out of the trouble by carrying a cute headband or a scrunchie. Not only are they functional, but they also keep you stylish at all time. Did I mention my favorite pizza scrunchie?
Big Tote Bag or Backpack
You need a spacious bag to carry your clothes and other stuff that you need. It’s going to be a long day, make sure you come prepared. Personally, backpacks are just easier to carry, in my opinion, hence, a better option for field day. However, if you are a tote bag person, they’re also great. So pick whatever works for you!
This one is pretty self-explanatory.
Assuming you care about the planet, I hope you do. Let’s skip the plastic cups and carry our own water bottles. You are about to move around a lot, stay hydrated!
Make sure you put some sunscreen before you head to the field, and don’t forget you need to reapply as the day goes. The fried look is not chic at all.
Setting Spray and Lip Gloss
Now this one is controversial, skip if you want. You obviously don’t need them. But if you’re a girl like me, and you want to look flawless at all times. It’s key to keep setting spray in your bag always, and your Fenty lip gloss. You have to look good, I said it.
